  • Old Seng Choong is proud to present ONE new pineapple tart that celebrate the diverse food culture this island nation is renowned for. Pastry Chef Daniel Tay and his team have crafted delicious golden pineapple nuggets with a Singapore-centric spin by adding ingredients such as Salted Egg Yolk into the mix. Fans can also enjoy TWO new cookies Hae Bee Hiam (Spicy Dried Shrimps) and Kueh Kosui, which is a collaboration with The Itan Peranakan home museum.


  • With the launch of the first Old Seng Choong retail store at Clarke Quay Central and Paragon, these Chinese New Year goodies will be on sale there from 10 January 2019 to 3 February 2019.

Each buttery nugget holds a generous helping of sweet aromatic pineapple jam mixed with an iconic Singaporean favourite - Salted Egg. The pair certainly complements one another in its sweet and savoury nuances, definitely a marriage in heaven!

  • CharGold Bak Kwa Pineapple Tart (竹炭 肉干黄梨挞) ($29.80 nett / 10 pieces)

This black gold nugget holds a lavish helping of sweet aromatic pineapple jam mixed with slivers of savoury bak kwa – an iconic Chinese New Year sweet roasted meat. This lavish combination sits in a butter pastry mixed with charcoal powder which is known to assist with digestion. Gold dust on each tart adds a glimmer of class to this pastry.
